Yes, in most cases this is possible.  When ever you fill out an application, always make sure you read over all requirements.

Ideally, it would be a good idea to have you own personal PC.  Having your own PC allows you to apply to any work at home companies that you can with your PC specs.

If you have children and they are under age, you may want to think about getting help to watch them while you are working.  Also, because you are working from home you have to make sure that you obtain high speed internet.  The faster that can get, the better!  If anything, you will end up save a ton of cash because you don’t have to worry about paying for gas, lunch and the cost of car repairs go drastically down.

NO! I suggest that if you are going to watch TV, you do that on your break or after work.  This means no social media, taking on the phone to friends, or having people in work workspace.

Getting Started

This is something that a lot of people over looking when deciding that they want to work from home.  You should pick an area that is away from everyone so that you won’t be bothered during work.  You should also pick a spot that has a door preferably to keep everyone out.  Next, you want to make sure that you back is against a wall if possible.  You also don’t want to have a window right behind you (for security purposes).

While there is never a right or wrong answer here, you may want to make sure that you have some of the following: pc, monitor (get two if possible), webcam, and usb headset.  Some work at home companies will send you equipment and others require you have your own.
