Documenting
It so important that you make sure you keep up with any and all information that you come across that something you have to remember or don’t want to forget. There has been times in the past where I wish I had written down something. When keeping notes, here are somethings that you need to make sure that you do:
- Write detailed notes
- Make sure you write down the phone number and also the name of the person that you spoke with at that time
- Make sure you confirm what the person is saying to you
- If it is a website that you came across. Try to take a screen shot of the full page and take down the exact link
Documentation
Make sure you keep any and all information that has been sent to you. Also any paperwork that you have filled out (no matter if you have sent it off or if you still have it). The reasons why:
- Sometimes paperwork gets lost
- When things are being sent, you may have to resent it
- Sometimes people act like they don't remember what they told you and what they received from you
- You want to always make sure you have proof
